West Monroe at Ouachita has been the game of the year so far in 5A. WM won 17-14 in OT.

Jesuit's toughest game was week one against Hahnville when they won 28-13. HHS's four loses were Jesuit, Lutcher, St. Aug, and ESJ.....in all but Jesuit HHS had the lead late.

5A is wide open. Any of these top teams could get hot and make a run. There are no dominant teams as in the past. There are many good teams but nobody is unbeatable.
This is true. Every team is beatable. It should be a good playoffs in 5-A and 4-A as well.

Im not sure what you consider late, but St.Aug won by 20 and dominated the 2nd half. Hahnville is a solid team though, they have lost to some tough teams and have a good win over Mcd 35.

The most historic game is tonight when JT Curtis tries to become the second coach in high school football history. To win 500 games. Considering that the opponent is Clark, that shouldn't be too difficult. Congrats to JT.

Redemptorist scored on it's first offensive play of the game. Forced 3 and out, punt went over the punter's head. Gave RHS ball on 10. Next play, scored. It was 14-0 in like 3 minutes. I was scared it was about to get ugly, then DHS recovered.

I don't understand the following:
3. Rummel (7-0) Are Raiders next to fall on Jesuit’s hit parade? History says no.
I think the last time Jesuit was undefeated late in the season was 2004, and the Blue Jays beat Rummel 22-10.
Can someone explain the "history" referenced above? TIA
