Just watched the end of Dunham/Episcopal on my phone. Mistretta made the right call to go for 2. Sometimes it just doesn't work out. Looks like it was a great game though.

It was a good game and good choice to go for 2. Dunno about read option against a team that sees option every day.

Tyler is a player. If only he were taller.

Not too impressed with his passing, he's missed a bunch of open guys but he can scramble and run. Different game once Wallace went out.

Yep, you don't have to gun every pass sometimes touch on the ball is much better.

terrible interference call, should have been offensive but justice prevails.

You must be tired, good thing you work in a sleep lab. Was a good game, wanted to go instead of watching on TV but had to go to son's senior jacket presentations at HHS.

Yeah. Feeling it tonight. I played that defending NC guy all 3 rounds. I hit hybrid-6 iron off the tee the first two rounds which were with partners. In singles I pulled out the driver and dragged him into deeper water. He tried too hard and I won 4 and 2. Very satisfying winning 2 out of 3 and my singles match with him. Hope you enjoyed the special moment tonight. That's a great day.

Good job in SC. Yeah he was excited, he could have gotten his letter jacket after his Soph. year but he wanted to wait. Daughter who is also a senior got hers after her Freshman yr after she lettered in volleyball and soccer. Now she's mad because this year they offered the leather sleeved jacket to letterman versus the regular ones. When I went to Hahnville they only gave out the ones with leather sleeved versions if you won the state championship. (Have two of those from football.....I was a ball boy in 68 &72 when my dad was assistant principal.

Newman almost came back. Had the ball on the one down 7 with the last play if the game.

Too much to overcome. Good game

Battle of Nashville Avenue
McMain 22 - Lusher 20 Final

What a great game. Lusher had the ball at the McMain 8 yard line with 12 seconds left. Lusher QB Louis Landrum was sacked and the clock expired as Lusher was trying to spike the ball.

Newman-Riverside game was very exciting. Kinda funny though when the announcers were talking about the RA players though, they have kids from Thibodaux, Bastrop, Northshore and Westwego just on there defense and supposely the Wallace kid who is the QB is from tennessee, any chance we can get hire their recruiter here at LSU, it shows that its definately paying off for them as they are one of the teams to beat in 2A.

They had a ton of kids on the sidelines too. It was my first time to RA. Nice environment. I was in the Newman side. Got there a little late.

Riverside is a different school since Timmy Byrd got there; anyone who knows the schools history will know what I mean by that. Stubbs has kids wanting to play football again and kids are coming there to play. The game probably would not have been close if Wallace didn't get hurt in first half, they were up 28-7 with him playing.
