Just remembered a good example. DE that played for Woodlawn last night, played and attended CHS-BR last year. He did not have to sit a calendar year because it is a public school and he lives in the Woodlawn attendance zone. Private to private and public to private are the examples of possible "recruiting" to happen, or are thought to happen.

Depends where you live... I know a few guys that lived in bocage and were eligible to play at episcopal. It really is not hard to get around the rules for eligibility

Did they attend another high school before Episcopal, that will determine eligibility and how soon.

Shaw is bad and hahnville is down. they barely beat Bonnabel

shaw beat holy cross by 3 which is one of the worst teams in the metro area

Holy Cross is not even close to being one of the worst teams in the metro area. They have lost to 3 undefeated teams and 2 teams that were preseason top 10 teams in 4a. The Slidell loss is bad though.

Hahnville is down, but they have lost to 3 really good teams.

they led that one until 0:04 remaining in regulation...

the worst metro area teams are ehret, grace king, pearl river, ben franklin, riverdale, and all of 10-3A

I doubt he does updates, Chalmette is going to get worked.
Jesuit has the best team in New Orleans.

ETA: If Jesuit loses, I will be back to edit.

Saw Hahnville-Bonnabel last night. Bonnabel is not a bad team, big and were well coached. I don't know where they got those kids because for years the bruins really stunk. Hahnville is down some, their biggest weakness is coaching. Valdin seems to be in retirement mode.

well it's hard when i'm actually there and no access to a computer, but i have a cell phone, so i can update facebook and twitter

let me just say i forgot how dark city park gets at night walking to my car and back...

i can see why jesuit will be a tough out. they won't win the state championship (not enough air firepower), but they can certainly upset a team that can by not making mistakes and running the ball down your throat. i'm going to go out on a limb right now and predict carencro will beat barbe in the 5A final in mid december.

we're down 21-0 late in the third, our guy is taking it into the end zone, and gets hit and fumbles as he scores, jesuit recovers, touchback as we were trying to get back in the game.

4 1/2 minutes left, we're down 28-0, and jesuit has 4th and 10 around our 35. i'd punt it and shut it down, but jesuit throws for it and i feel safe calling them out for it even though we picked them off... the intent was still there IMO. they threw a couple times on that drive when we both knew they could run at will on us at that point. brother martin tried that same crap in '07 and i'm anxiously awaiting the day we can do that to them... not tonight, but it's closer than it was in '07 and '08
