He carried the offense for the most part. He didnt play much defense at all.

They do have some young talented players though. I think they'll just be throwing the ball more instead of running it.

(Btw, they uploaded all of scores against Redemptorist last year on YouTube if you want to relive that )

Yeah 15 points were handed to Neville on fumble at WM 8 and the fumble returned for TD. I shouldn't say handed on that return as it was just a great play. Still, being honest it was more a 17/21-3/7 type game. Zero doubt Neville was superior though.

Quick question; why do teams in the same district play each other in the jamboree?

They split Fountainebleau a few years ago to make Lakeshore high. They are struggling getting back.

Thursday night. Ed reed jamboree at Hahnville

Destrehan over Lutcher 34-13

Hahnville over St James 37-13

Desty will be very good, qb is a Utah commit and they are very fast on both sides of the ball. Hahnville has some talent but very young and inexperienced.

Had to post this. My son told me when he got in last night that the coaches are checking, but think his 44 yard FG set a school record. Not bad for his first attempt after being drafted to be the kicker a few weeks ago. Just as excited by 2 touchbacks and 2 other kickoffs to the goaline. Hopefully he's going to get a lot of chances to kickoff this year.

Teurlings next week will tell us more, but barring injuries, this team could be even better than last year's team. Will have to be, considering the hand dealt to us by the LHSAA.

District 7-5A is back to its normal schools

Hope to see some good games when SL plays Hville an Destrehan and ESJ.

Some good talent in the district this year.

Bringing Melvin back was the best choice in years. Defense looked amazingly better than the past 2 years. Offense could've scored more but didn't capitalize. Extra points not a specialty but kickoffs ranged from the 10 to 5 yards in the endzone.

It should be Desty's district to win this year although they seem to choke against us every year lately. I saw one paper project it to be
1- DHS
2-SL
3-ESJ
4-HHS

Probably pretty accurate

Parkway 35 Benton 7.
Brandon looked pretty good. A few drops by his recievers, an underthrown ball for an interception, and a fumble didn't help much. He did throw for 1 td. Benton had a lot of turnovers on their own side of the field which led to short td drives. Parkways offensive line does not look very good. There was a lot of pressure on him tonight much like the WM scrimmage last week where he was running for his life in a 7-7 tie. Hope they can fix the problems there for Parkways and LSU's sake.
