I mean they can get 3-4 guys on 6 million dollar a year contracts without much difficulty, no?
probably but i have no clue with this neo neo NBA

but how long can they hold this together
With the off the court money the top 4 or 5 players make, their NBA salary is almost supplemental income. Curry could choose not to max out on his re-up contract to keep this line up together.

Barnes was a poor-mans durant... Now they'll have the real thing.
Center will be their only true weakness... teams with size like SA and even OKC with Adams will give them trouble. It'll take a little time to figure it out... but when it clicks (and it will, especially at home), it's gonna be incredible to watch.

That's a pretty small lineup no?
it's just something they'll trot out to go into berzerker mode in games

The heat with Lebron thought they were gonna get decent players on cheap deals... That didn't really happen iirc. 'Ring chasers' is an overstated thing... everybody wants to get paid what they're worth.

I'm preparing myself for when they put up 140 on the Pels

Too many cooks in the kitchen imo

sucks just hand them the trophy for the next 2 years - NBA lost a league pass subscriber today
The only intriguing thing is that lebron is still alive.
What exactly are they planing to do at center?

the warriors never struck me as a selfish team. that's kind of their thing
just look at the playoffs the past 2 years. different guys goes off in different games and they all go nuts
i'm sure KD will buy in, if he hasn't already

Yeah I don't see how nba fans can be excited about this.

Strangely enough, I think we have the pieces to match up respectfully well with them. Doubt we beat them any games but few teams will.
I mean of course no one can really outmatch them when they are firing on all cylinders but unlike years past we have defensive strength everywhere on the court when healthy and can switch out the arse.
Jrue, and Qpon have shown they can switch 1-3. Davis can switch 3-5. Evans can switch 1-3(though not all that great of a team defender). Solo and Moore both have defensive position versatility and Asik will actually be one of those bruisers down low I think the Warriors will have issues with this season. Assuming of course he can rebound a bit better and be at least serviceable.

yeah this is almost about aesthetics at this point
kind of like having the clear-cut, #1 artist in the world painting pictures. it's almost guaranteed to be beautiful

What's sneaky about this death linueup is the rim protection Durant brings, which the old death lineup mostly lacked. They shooting will obviously improve as well.
Also adds someone that can create something that isn't a three.

Durant and Green are both excellent rebounders.

yeah all 5 guys in that lineup can dribble, pass, and shoot (3 of the 5 obviously much better)
Posted on 7/4/16 at 5:27 pm to SlowFlowPro
Regular season is going to be beautiful.
I'm looking to see who goes alpha in the playoffs/finals. Curry and Durant have yet to show that.

Oh it's going to be insane to watch. But what other size will they have?
Boguts gone, Festus and McAdoo are UFAs now. This death lineup might have to log a lot of minutes.

I for one welcome our Bay Area overlords.
I think it will be interesting.
We've seen line ups with four huge names before but any of those teams had the players while they were in different stages of their career. I don't think we've ever had a team with 4/5 starters in their prime that are currently top 10 or 12 players in the league.
It will be fun to watch an all star team play 82 games and people don't need to undersell the fact that it will be interesting to watch everyone try and take them down.
