Didn't even make a bowl game.

The only thing that surprised me was that those losses were at autzen. That SC team was pretty solid.

Chip Kelly's teams played with focus and determination, and did not take the opposition for granted. We shat the bed last year against Stanford in OT, but nothing like this.

I'm not sure that a lack of focus and determination leads to giving up over 300 rushing yards. As long as Oregon is putting up points, their defense gets enough of a breather to take chances and play for turnovers. But if that defense has to be on the field for 35-40 minutes against a strong rushing attack, Oregon looks utterly hapless.

In a 12 game season, Oregon's system just isn't viable. With their facilities, they'll probably continue to recruit some talented playmakers. But the state of Oregon is not a recruiting hotbed, and if USC, UCLA, and Washington reemerge, Oregon's glory days are pretty much numbered.
