Let's all give credit to the Braves for refusing to bow to the woke crowd.

While Cleveland and Washington change their names for woke people who don't watch sports, not only do the Braves refuse to change their name but keep doing the chop too.
They won a championship doing the chop and keep doing it in the face of continued woke pressure.

They bent the knee one post season game and got raped on the field for it and faced backlash in the ATL after. They might have learned not to bow to work because their core fan base that packs truist of far from woke. The Braves crowd has some old school cobb people and a lot of Cherokee county people now.

To be fair, the name Braves is much less offensive to the woke crowd than Indians, and most certainly less offensive to the woke crowd than Redskins. Hell, UM still has the Ole Miss moniker and its origins are pretty bad

At least they haven’t changed their name but the Braves bitching out and banning the chop then immediately giving up 10 runs in the 1st inning and getting rolled out of the playoff is one of the funniest sports things of all time.

Braves have a strong backing from the local native Americans who apparently aren't interested in attention whoring and understand that there wasn't derogatory intentions with the names of teams.
