I am fans of teams who never won a title. Considering about only 10 teams have won in 30 years with Dallas being the only one to win once, that leaves the vast majority of the league.

LEGIT MIAMI HEAT FANS = Born and raised in Miami

I have been a Seattle Mariners fan for 18 years and have never stepped foot in the city.

well good for you, but don't straight up try and lie about what was posted. I never once said "born and raised in Miami". as a matter of fact I never even once limited it to Miami. here you go -

quote:

then let me add to it -

LEGIT MIAMI HEAT FANS =

- born and raised in the state of Florida
- currently live in the state of Florida
- currently live in a state NEARBY Florida that DOES NOT have an NBA team. (Louisiana fans are the worst at this, wont even support a team in their backyard)
- from Florida, but had to move out of state

IF you don't fall in that category, then you're not a LEGIT Miami Heat fan. you're a front runner. plain and simple.

Even so, I live 2000 miles away from the Pacific Northwest. It doesn't make me any less a fan. I could even argue that I'm a better fan because I follow the team when it is harder to do so.

This thread is glorious.

Does the fact that I am a Cubs fan mean that I'm the opposite of a frontrunner or just dumb, Weebie? I need your clarification because I wonder why I still follow them.

And I'm not from Chicago.

likely just dumb.

I guess its the same reason why many still follow the Astros knowing damn well that organization is nothing more than a gloried mom and pop shop.

Indiana is clearly the better team overall when the game is called evenly.

Which totally explains why, in a larger sample of games against the same competition (the regular season), Miami had a much better record.

Some people are fans of players who are on the team and want to follow that player for instance= Lebron James. Some people follow his career since the day he was drafted, meanwhile some people are fans of Wade since he played with Shaq. I'm a Lebron James fan so I like the heat. Steve Nash was my favorite pg of all time but I don't like the Lakers but enjoy watching Steve Nash play.
