And the ref clearly never saw anything but the flop

That's pathetic, even for him.

I wish someone would put together a video of his greatest flops.

Because they can't.

But they should . Bron is 6'8 and is at 260 pounds. No way does he travel some 20 feet after a tap like that. You need to get his wang out of your mouth on this one . How you can defend him on this is way beyond stupid.

That's plain embarrassing for what you fanboys consider the GOAT.

A couple years back didn't they put in some rule or something to start cracking down on flopping? I thoguth refs were well within bounds (no pun intended) to T people for egregious flopping, is that not right?

I gave you the rule.

Not sure if you knew this or not, but just to confirm so we're on the same page, I don't make the rules in the NBA.

Flops should be handled by the league office after the fact. No chance refs should be handling this. Hell, the ref called a technical on Carroll on that play, but you want the ref handling technicals for flops?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but i think that rule had nothing to do with the refs. It was judged by the league office, and if they deemed it a flop, players would get a small fine.

It should probably be handled more like the technicals, where after a certain amount you get a suspension. I don't think it is though, i think it's just fines.

Speaking of beyond stupid... Reading shel's post and coming to the conclusion that he "has his wang in his mouth" and is defending him is beyond stupid.

You are correct. Starts at $5k and goes up with each incident.

If Bron ever goes flying like that, the refs should assume it's a flop...especially when you aren't even looking at him.

LeFlop strikes again. He and Chris Paul are a match made in flopping heaven. Dude should be ashamed of himself.
