Because I said earlier that I can throw it one-handed the full length of the court pretty easily. I can't palm it like he did... you have to hold your palm up the whole time you are winding up to throw it so that the ball doesn't come out of your han
So the ONLY impressive thing is that Lebron has big hands?

Everyone on team "you can't do that" is completely different pages.

No one has once said its easy. The 3rd o 4th post zealot said majorty of people couldnt get it 3/4 length of court...thats been the argument...not one person has said it was an easy thing to do but saying we can throw it doen a court makes us e bad assess and means its an easy shot

I think/hope Zealot meant people on here couldn't throw it 3/4s of the court as easily as LeBron threw it full court.

Exactly
Yeah but my man, everyone in the thread is saying nobody can throw a basketball that far. Like, period. Only thing team, "dammit yes I can do that," is arguing is we CAN throw a basketball that far. And those blessed enough to have been born large enough to palm a ball can do it exactly like Lebron. Obviously he could take it to a whole new level of he threw it as far as he could.

Tbh, it feels like exactly what is being argued has changed a few times itt.

Then again, it's probably because I came in late and wasn't following very well.

Another thing I don't think people understand is the distance from baseline to baseline. shite is 94 feet.

Think about throwing something from first to second base. That's literally nothing. When I was playing I could throw a baseball over the center field wall from home. Anyone who can palm a basketball can very, very easily throw it 94 feet.

I have no doubt it would be super easy for me to throw it that far but I don't think it would be anywhere near as easy as it was for him, he almost was leaning back as he did it. I don't see how we have gotten so far away from that, the ONLY impressive thing was how easily he tossed it. I know it's less than 100 feet but damn it looked like he could have thrown it 300 feet if he actually tried.

He definitely put something into the windup. Mainly with his body, not his arm action....that shite was easy and smooth as butter.

The majority of the posters are saying throwing a basketball that far is impossible for anyone here. Pretty much saying you're a tPOS if you think you can.

There's no doubt that he could pretty much throw that basketball as far as the arena would allow. It's amazing how simple he makes it look.

For that distance though, it's almost all about palming the ball.

I was really only here to laugh at those who suggested they could swish it from that distance with any accuracy.

Throwing a bball 94 feet isn't THAT impressive if you're in decent shape and can throw it however you want, but palming it with accuracy from that distance is absurd.

And, for the record, I actually can palm a bball. I have big hands for a short dude

Couple things, he makes it look like NOTHING. So doing it like Lebron did is impossible for anyone here. Mainly because not many of us are 6' 8'' or the world's best athlete. He's gonna make anything involving, doing something, look easier than us

And I also think the angle of the video makes the 94 feet look really far.

Home to first. Home to first. Most here could, if they got all hot and bothered, underhand a basketball from home to first. Like a really aggressive "take that basketball!!!" kind of underhand toss.

Overhand is no problem and if you can palm it, home to first is nothing. It's really nothing.

Doing it with accuracy makes it much harder. Waaaaaay harder. But how many times did he attempt that? Plus the odds are low enough that when someone makes a shot like that on their first attempt, I get all grumpy and call it luck
