i have no idea what you are trying to say lil guy.
BUT he never took his team out of the first round and the raptors missed the playoffs moreso than they participated.
franchise, not even once.

How did this turn into a Chris Bosh thread....bottom line is Lebron is playing on most talented team in NBA

Chris Bosh
Quality player but certainly not a franchise guy.

The year before the formation of the trio here is a listing of the beloved PER leaders in the NBA:
1. Lebron
2. Wade
3. Durant
4. Bosh
People were legitimately calling him one the best big men in the NBA at the time just coming off a 24 and 11 year putting up Tim Duncan numbers.
It's ok to admit they basically colluded to win. Because well...they did.

The dude led a sucky Toronto team to the playoffs in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Averaging 22 ppg and 10 rpg his last 5 years there. Who was the last player to average that over 5 seasons?
Garnett maybe???

and whats the point. LJ will still get 6.5 rings.
2.5 in Miami and 4 on the Lakers and be the greatest of all time

They are the most talented only because they have LeBron

If you play for a team for 7 years and they remain completely irrelevant that entire time, you can't argue that you can build a team around that guy.

Whew, good thing you arbitrarily used 7 years or else Michael Jordan would have been a waste

You either don't know what arbitrarily means or you don't know who I was talking about because the 7 years number I used is literally the complete opposite of an arbitrary number.

I know you are being sarcastic, but MJ and the bulls were very relevant prior to their first championship.
The raptors were the definition of irrelevant with bosh.

And it's also a dumb argument since MJ's teams were obviously relevant in the few years before they won a title.
Clearly.

It became arbitrary when you applied a precise number to a general principle.
For instance: what about 4 years? 5 years? 6 years?
Posted on 2/13/13 at 5:45 pm to theunknownknight
It was in regards to a specific player.
He played 7 years
Try to keep up.

These threads are the reason why the MSB has started to turn into shite. Discussion is not at a premium anymore, instead its more whoever screams the loudest between the participants wins(Lebron, Jordan and Kobe in this case). In this world of instant gratification we now must have instant analysis of who ranks higher than who at any given point in time. So instead of trying to take everything in an enjoy the now, we have to diminish because somebody's current body of work doesn't match someone who retired (well no fricking shite sherlock).
And as far as seasons of 20-10 go, the list is full of players who were good, but not necessarily all time greats Zelmo Beaty, Zach Randolph, Elton Brand, George McGinnis, Derrick Coleman and Alonzo Mourning come to mind. Given due time, Kevin Love may end up fitting that profile too sadly.
TLDR: Lets watch these games instead of mindlessly arguing about incomplete data, and just because you get 20-10, doesn't make you a hardbody that has to be built around.

Been a lurker, don't really feel compelled to post that often. And no harm DukkeV, you pretty much are the message board version of my Great-Uncle. A different ,saltier viewpoint on topics, both wrong and right in a lot of the same instances haha.
