Lebron James - Where do you rank him among current players?

I don't follow basketball as closely as some of you but I'd say he's easily top 5 and probably top 2.
I think he's turning the corner and being able to take over an entire game or series by himself pretty consistently.

1 or 2
Probably 1... there is no one the Cavs would trade Lebron for.

so does this mean you had nash/nowitzki at the 1 spot for 3 years?

He's #1 and it isn't close.
Unlike Kobe, his teammates love him and play better because of him. The opposite is true of the Lakers sans Shaq.
He has better #'s (rebounds, assists etc.) than Kobe consistantly, and he plays on a less talented team

dude lamar odom would be a beast on the cavs and he comes off the bench for the lakers
i mean lebron definitely has a better point guard, but the lakers, by far, have the better/deeper front court (which makes a huge difference b/c kobe and lebron are both perimeter players for the most part)

I think that if Lamar Odom were on a team that didn't already have a superstar to get behind, that he would be considered one of the best.
He's 6'10, handles the ball like a guard, can shoot, play fierce defense, run the floor, etc.
Lebron would still be considered the most phenomenal player. I mean, he's just so athletic for a 6'8 guy and has immense basketball IQ.
I'd put Kobe at 2nd and then about 10 guys tied for 3rd and 20 guys tied for 13th.

Yes, Lebron is clearly #1, but the relative talent levels surrounding Lebron and the rapist is NOT debatable.
