Nah we don't worry about mid week games. And we also don't throw our ACE on Fridays and Tuesdays.

FIFY.

And we also wouldn't emabarras ourselves by bragging about selling out our stadium.....considering its capacity is only 1,200. LOL

Maybe you @ruston folks will gain bragging right in 40-50 years....compared to our softball program/stadium.

You got shut down by Adam Derouen the second time around, at your home stadium. Dude didn't sniff a weekend rotation.

But keep using those talking points.

Envy is not a good look.

The butthurt from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette fans is so potent. Your boys got skull drug twice last year, in baseball... which is your only "good" sport, aside from softball of course.

Join a real conference and you will see what the weekend starters look like. Stop slumming in the Sunbelt.

Let's talk about your ace last year, Tyler Clancy: great pitcher, lots of potential.

No envy, no spite....just give the facts:
1. It was a cold and wet February mid-week game with us. What was his pitch count for that game?
2. Give us a run-down of how the rest of the season went for him.......including the 'injury' that sidelined him.

That's because you live in bubble and have no context.

It's okay for LaTech to celebrate selling out a mid-week game. They're building a program and that's a milestone. It's also good for them to celebrate beating an SEC school. Another program-building-milestone.

They're not celebrating getting 1200 people to the park in a vacuum. They're celebrating the mark of progress that it is for them to sell out the stadium in the mid week.

fricking good for them. I hope they continue to have success and continue to have crowds that justify expanding the park.

They made an awesome hire to replace Goff and I think he's going to continue the upward trajectory of the program.

Viewing it from the outside I can understand the animosity by Cajun fans toward LTs quick turnaround of their program. The Cajuns were right there as the #2/#3 program in the state behind LSU and adjacent Tulane. Now LT looks to be progressing into that conversation what 2 years after losing 45+ games? Add in what happened in football when the Cajuns looked to be making a push to surpass LT as the #2 program before the two thrashings and I'm sure there is an extra bit of venom that LT swept the Cajuns last year.

Yeah the past couple years Tech has solidified itself as the #2 athletic program in the state. Their basketball team is pretty good too. ULL fans are just butthurt

Damn, they got Arky to come down and stay in Ruston for a next-day game? I'd think that shows a good bit of respect to Burroughs and the program he's building. Nice.

That, plus the Cajuns have perpetual butthurt because no one is buying their 'Louisiana' shite.
