Lake Charles little league baseball vs Mississippi on at 4:00 p.m.

The Lake Charles LL team has a player named Gavin Guidry. During Friday's game the announcers said the he had stated that his favorite college team was the LSU Tigers. Hopefully, it stays that way and he will be a Tiger one day following in the footsteps of Bryce and Beau Jordan and Trey Quinn.
He was the starting pitcher against Pearland TX Friday. The first three Pearland hitters all got singles and had the bases loaded with no outs. Guidry proceeded to strike out the next six batters. He pitched four innings, recorded eight strikeouts, made a hell of a play at shortstop later in the game an hit a home run that went into the trees well beyond the outfield fence.
This may be the same LL team that the Jordan brothers and Trey Quinn played for when the made the world series.
SLC plays Mississippi today at 4:00 on Longhorn network channel 677 on DirecTv. Also on ESPN3 online.

South LC is the team the Jordan's and Quinn played for.

I remember watching all of their world series games but couldn't remember if it was SLC or not. Really don't know if Lake Charles would have more than one LL team. But I guess if there is a South LC there must be a North LC.

i think there may still be a mid city but no north lake charles league as far as i know

If you want to post this on a 4th board you can go to the Movie/TV board and ask if a movie of young Mr Guidry's life might ever be made.
If you need a 5th, take it to the Food and drink board and ask what everybody's eating and drinking while watching the game.
Or is 3 times enough?

Rebecca Skains has 2 homers and 4 rbis through 4 innings, probably will never see another strike the rest of the game.

Stockstill is from Caldwell. Believe she's committed to ULM.

I looked up her stats and she went .477 25 HRs and 23 SBs, that's pretty good. LSU-E is quite a bit down from D1 but I can't imagine ULM, LA Tech, etc. can't find a spot for her.

Yeah I'm not sure why he stuck with her. I'm sure there's something we don't know about. JD has done a great job with that team. Won it last year and lost in the finals this year.

I know one of their aces hasn't pitched yet; he throws between 70-75 and with a couple of off speed pitches. The aforementioned Guidry is the other ace. He is a very good all around player.
