LA Tech will still need to win the C-USA tourney in Birmingham to make the big dance, but I think this is the year they finally get it done.

Unless they turn down the tourney bid

I think it will come down to UAB or Tech. I have no interest in seeing UAB again. No offense, but I will be pulling hard for UTEP in the Semi's.

I would like to see all the regular season champs AND the tournament champs automatic bids, instead of big5 conferences #6 teams getting a spot.

Actually, I would rather see all the teams with .500 records names in a hat, and no seeding, just like FA cup.
But letting the regular season champs in, instead of the #6 team of the Big Ten, or #7 team of the ACC works for me.

You can even keep your slot for the ACC #7. Just increase to 128, one more round and let all the regular season champs in.

Al McGuire is the only one who ever did that. Undefeated Marquette. He took them to the NIT. 32-0.

I do not count Bailey Howell's Miss State, because at that time Miss legislature did not allow state u's to play persons of color.
