Heard part of Robichaux's presser from yesterday on the radio this morning. Made me want to throw some cleats on and play ball!
The definition of class for sure, him and Lotief. Anyone that doesn't like these guys isn't worth trusting.

I've been keeping up with this one kid that plays for LSUA since he went to my high school.
Logan Constantine is a Soph CF for them. Last year as a Freshman he set the single season school for batting average.
He's got to be the best player in the program's (short) history. At the end of this year he'll be the career BA leader, top 5 in hits, top 5 in runs, top 5 in RBI, 2nd in doubles, top 10 in triples, 1st or 2nd in home runs, 2nd in total bases, 1st in slugging, top 10 in stolen bases.
All in only two years in the program. He may end up in the top 10 in ABs by the end of the season, but it's possible that doesn't happen until next year.
I understand that it's NAIA and they've only had a program for about 10 years. But that's still pretty impressive.

Frickin idiots, that's who. People that hate anything associated with the Cajuns, and were probably offended by my last statement.
I'm not a Cajuns fan by any means. Most of the Cajuns fans I know are obnoxious. But I can respect a man like Tony Robichaux. He isn't just about the game. He's about the process. He's about making boys into men.
I read a book in high school, Season of Life by Jeffrey Marx. Robichaux reminds me of the coach in that book that Marx spent a year with.

Exactly. This is beyond baseball: both Lotief and Robe have such compelling stories, and are so committed to building character along with good players, that it is beyond me why anyone would want to down vote them. Or at least man up and tell us why they do it.

No way is anyone going to admit to downvoting a guy that actually has character.
Besides, it's no different than the clowns that downvote any post made about McNeese. There are those here that will downvote anything ULL, LA Tech, or McNeese related for some dumbass reason.

Cajuns are playing very good baseball right now. I wonder at what point the Cajuns will start getting in the discussion for hosting a regional.
