That looks fricking awesome. Nice to see Robichaux finally get rewarded.

Yeah, man, it's awesome. I'm super pumped up about it and it's not even completely finished yet. It was almost surreal tonight looking around. I've been going to Cajuns baseball games for so long, it's wild that Robe finally got his upgrade.

Tulane won in extras! Breaks a 7 game losing streak. Have to start somewhere

Have to agree with this, but people discount how much talent this team lost. It's definitely a rebuild job.

That being said, I don't like Jewett so far. Don't like his strategy, plus he took away the ping pong table in the clubhouse and seems very strict (dress code, OCD about certain things). The team seems to be pressing. We need to loosen up

That's interesting. Robe used to be really strict about dress code things. The whole team had to choose whether to wear their pants all the way down or at the knees. He also banned facial hair for a while. He loosened up his rules in 2014 and we've been on possibly our best run in his tenure since then.

You could probably say all sports are best played with as little stress as possible. I feel like this especially goes for baseball since it's basically a bunch of frat stars. The jury is still out on Jewett, maybe he's pressing too much in his first HC gig?

Not a rebuild job. Lost two really good players. One good pitcher and an above average pitcher.
Retuned: 3 really good starting pitchers. Like really good. 10 game winner in Massey. All-AAC in 2015 in Merrill. France who shut LSU down twice last year.

Catcher Montalbano who hit 10 HRs and had All-conference honors
1B Hunter Williams who had a slugging percentage of .580 last year
2B Willsey who hit 10 Hrs and was also All-conference
3B Hope, 16 HRs, all-conference
OF Witherspoon, Best freshman year at Tulane in a while last year. Probably the best player on the team

So what's the problem? Taking a while to gel or something bigger?

No chemistry between staff and players and talent not what sime fans think. No position player would have seen the field on the 99-05 teams.

Total exaggeration. You really think that Bryan Stelmack starts over Spoon? No, you know that's bullshite. I can give you more examples if you want.

Tech leading Wichita State 8-0 in the bottom of the first, 7 hits, including 2 HRs. Twelve Bulldogs have batted and the Shockers are on their second pitcher.

So two bigtime undefeated programs have come to Ruston this week, only to go home with their first loss. Pretty impressive.
