Don't disgree with that assesment.

I think Kurt appeals, wins and runs this weekend.

If he doesn't run apparently Regan Smith isn't a done deal. Rumors out of SHR is there are talks to put Chase Elliot in the 41.

I imagine that Kurt is gonna be dropped by any and all sponsors before the weekend is out.I dont know what legal "weight" that ruling carries or what the legal penalties are if any.

He has now been dropped by Chevrolet as well.

quote:

Statement from Jim Campbell, Chevrolet vice president of Motorsports and Performance Vehicles: "Chevrolet has suspended its relationship with Kurt Busch indefinitely. We will continue to monitor the events surrounding Mr. Busch and are prepared to take additional action if necessary."(Team Chevy)

SHR put Regan in the 14 last year when Tony had his deal with the Sprint car. I think Chase would be awesome in that car but dont know how the points would work.He has declared that he is running for the Xfinity title this year.I imagine that SHR wants a driver that would be Chase eligible.Based on how I read the rules Chase Elliot or Regan Smith would not be. It oughta get interesting. I say put Ron Hornaday Jr in it for Daytona.

To be "Chase" eligible a driver can't run for a championship in another series.

Gene Haas will not drop him.

After all the backlash from the NFL crap I don't think nascar really had a choice.

According to the judge she gave false testimony during the trial or hearing. She testified that the Motor Racing Outreach pastor told her that Busch's lawyers tried to bribe him to testify for them. The pastor testified that that never happened. I don't know what happened, but after taking that into account I'm not sure how you can believe anything else that she said.

You're right.Haas will not but others will distance themselves.Gene Haas does what he wants and if I had that much cheese I would too.He hired Kurt without even telling Tony.

Kurt has been "convicted in the court of public opinion".Based on his past I cant really see this turning out good for him in NASCAR.He may be driving an IndyCar for Andretti shortly.I can think of worse things to do

According to the article looks like Bush has hired attorney to the sports stars Rusty Hardin. Wonder how much that will set him back?

Don't know but after seeing the outcome he should've just represented himself.

Hardin has been his attorney from the beginning.

Smoke is more than likely telling Haas I told you not to put him in a car. It is no secret that Tony doesn't like Kurt. He'll Kurt isn't even in the same garage at The shop. I still think Kurt runs Sunday. NASCAR took the stand and will say Kurt won on appeal and they have to live with the process. If Criminal charges are filed NASCAR will take further action.

I hate the shrub brothers but Kurt is getting screwed here.

Yep,they have quite a history as do Harvick and Busch. Busch hasnt made many friends in his career.

NASCAR took the stand

They dont want the bad press that the NFL got a few months ago.

I still think Kurt runs Sunday.

I dont see how that could happen. The "judge" issued his ruling and I cant see that the appeal would play out within the next 48 hours. Money talks though.

FoxSports 1 just announced that Regan Smith in the car for the 500.They also said that even if the ruling changes that wouldnt change the fact that Busch is out for Sunday.

I actually think it's more likely Busch is telling the truth than his ex. Her story sounds absurd. No one misunderstands what their gf says she's being a hitman "for a movie".

If your gf tells you she's a hitman you have many long serious talks about that. You don't just go "o ok, what's for dinner?"

Kurt Bush items have now been removed from items available for purchase from NASCAR.com.

I wonder if his trailers have been pulled from the midway.

Anyone in Daytona can confirm?

Haas probably told smoke that you're lucky not to be in prison so keep quiet.

Probably. He pulled a Mark Martin a Dega except he hit a concrete wall instead of an aluminum barrier like Martin did.

God I hope not. Could be anything with that hit. I don't see him racing tomorrow.
