I think people got false hope in Kansas whenever a good but not great Kansas team beat an overrated/overvalued Kentucky team in Rupp.
Kentucky is pretty meh. They really aren't that great. I feel the same way about Kansas, just obviously they're better than Kentucky.

KU will be a 1 seed in the tournament but i see your point about Kentucky. Not enough front court depth to make a final a final 4 run though, imo. Who knows though. Guard play is so important in March

I mean I know it always seems like a given, but they still have to win the Big 12. If Baylor wins a share of the Big 12, I'd imagine they have a good shot at a 1 seed. Gonzaga is a 1 seed. Nova is a 1 seed.
At that point, it would depend if a team from the ACC separated themselves enough from the rest of the conference to get a 1 seed. It's the best conference by far, so I bet the committee would reward them.
Basically, I doubt Kansas and Baylor both get a 1. So if Kansas loses in Waco on Saturday, their 1 seed hopes are at least a little in doubt.
