Kobe Bryant: Held Back the Tide for 20 Years

There is a reason we have seen this great rise of the winningest teams in the West and it corresponds to the decline of Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
He was the lone Knight that curbed the lust and rage of the beasts lurking in the shadows of the west. Nay...he was the Stallion that restrained the setting of the sun.
Now that his time has passed there is no warrior to keep the balance. No champion driving his fiery steed into battle against the forces of darkness.
It is no accident, my friends, that the rise of record shattering teams coincides with the weakening of Kobe. Kobe IS the greatness and as he leaves, that greatness is being dispersed.
Kobe = GOAT

Then came Nick Saban to change all of that.

I would love to watch Kobe in his prime, try to check Curry..would be a great matchup

The retirement of Jordan led to the somewhat rise of Kobe. Jordan would have submitted Kobe to a blip

Kobe demolished Jordan when Kobe was a teenager and Jordan was in MVP form. Jordan is overrated.
