Warriors say Klay Thompson developed concussion-like symptoms after game, but didn't show any symptoms during in-game evaluation for injury

Should be fine for finals but worth keeping an eye on.

That training staff is a joke. His ear was fricking bleeding, but that somehow didn't get noticed.

When he came back to the bench the first time, he was rolling his eyes all around.

I knew it then that he was going to have problems.

That was a helluva lick put on him that he wasn't prepared to take.

Sure, now he has concussion like symptoms, after the series is over and during a week break.

It's was a laceration, it's not like he was hemorrhaging. He needed stitches. It's quite possible that after the adrenaline stopped pumping he felt a little woozy.

What's the difference between this and an actual concussion?

Medical diagnosis. He may have a concussion, but without a proper medical examination, you can't be certain.

Yeah, they realized they had a week off after the game. His eyes were spacy when he came back to the bench. If you get jacked in the head and have a headache and dizzy, that is a concussion. The brain got rattled. The Golden State doc is a joke.

Also read he threw up after the game.

Now his dad is saying he threw up several times after the game. Yes, the signs can show up later but I don't believe there were no signs.

No doubt the doc is being "influenced" in one way or another. But he should be a professional and not allow it. If they were to go against his diagnosis he should walk off the job.

That would be noble if that were the case but the doc knows what a sweet gig he has. He also gets bonuses based on team performance.

I'm sure now that the series is over they've left no stone unturned with Thompson. He's had a head CT, spine x-rays, the whole shabang.
