Brian Robiskie at #9? The guy who got owned by Chevis and Xenon?

Robiskie would be a 4 or 5 option on our depth chart!

Yes, and Kiper does not include underclassmen in his rankings until they declare, so his rankings are useless until Jan.

you don't think Robiskies worty of # 9 status? didn't he get behind secondary for a deep pass in NC game, just LSU's relentless D didn't give Boeckmann enough timr in the pocket to complete more passes, they almost beheaded him.

Robo is underrated by the majority of regular joes who don't watch him every week. He has nice size and hands, but will be no higher than a mid 2nd rounder I believe, and probably the 4th best WR in the draft.

Did Rob tear his hammy in the middle of the season last year?

Early's production in games in which he is healthy is more than adequate for his draft status.

But Slow you take Robs, I'll take Byrd

sweet, I'll take Michael Crabtree, who unlike Robiske or Bryd will be a top 10 pick, but won't show up on Mels Big Board until he declares for the NFL draft.

I need another year of proof for Crabtree before I annoint him the next best thing (especially in that system). ETA: I know he's a good receiver... I'm just not ready to call him a sure-fire Top 10 pick.

Hell, Jarrett Dillard nearly won the Biletnikoff a couple of years ago as a sophomore, and all of a sudden teams are learning how to neutralize him.

he's the real thing, just like you beleived in Moody, a lot of Frosh don't excel like that without special skills. no matter the system.

I remember watching Troy Edwards torch Nebraska (who at the time was still good) for 415 yards and complete a great career at La Tech in a very similar system to TTU's.

Mind you... I'm not saying he's not good. I believe he's one of the Top 5 in the country. I just don't think he's guaranteed a Top 10 pick... especially at 6'1".

ETA: What's his 40? About 4.5?

Yeah...I'd take Crabtree over any other WR in the nation.

Gotcha... any word on how accurate that is? Hand-timed? Laser-timed?

Wasn't Mikey a JUCO or something too? I thought there was some wierd circumstance so that he can enter the NFL draft as a sophmore this year?

I don't think it's laser, handtimed probably by TTU assistants.
