He played out of his mind last night

9pts, 15 rebounds.

Played great defense especially when he had to switch to Curry.

I wouldn't say out of his mind but they definitely don't win without him... He played great D and seemed to be on every rebound.

Showed some flashes of Minnesota Love. Would be surprised if he's back next year with Cavs

He played his role well. I thought he'd be more of an offensive weapon for CLE, but with Kyrie and Bron's offensive games, Love is able to focus his attention elsewhere. He played so damn hard last night too; loved watching him bang down low, especially early on.

Chugging a Steveweiser while sporting a Stone Cold t-shirt deserves appreciation by itself

they had a great shot of that Lebron dunk attempt where he got knocked to the floor
Love's on the wing in one view and he sees the lane James has and knows a dunk is coming and hes jumping in the air with joy

I'm not a +/- only guy, but when I checked stats in 2nd half, he was +15
And the only player with a double digit +/-.

Not to mention, he passed the eye test. Easily saved his best for game 7. They either need to run more plays where he can operate around the elbow or trade him to a team that will use his skill set.

League already thin- don't need a guy who recently avg'd 26/14 as 3rd or 4th option on Cavs

To be fair, the Cavs did try to play him in the post a few times. GSW just ran a double at him, and it was generally a turnover. Love looked like he had no idea what to do when faced with a double. If he had been competent in those situations, CLE would have ran the play more, and he probably gets more run in the series.

Love can have an important role on this Cavs team, but he needs to improve his defensive awareness and his ability to pass out of a double team while in the post.

That said, he was good in G7. He played hard and was active defensively. I was happy for him.
