What do you think is so bad about his comment? He says it doesn't hurt his feelings because it isn't like your hometown turning on you and they have every right to be pissed. That seems pretty reasonable and self aware.

You don't see how OKC fans could take this to heart? He's basically saying oh shite me all you want, you're not important to me anymore. FWIW, I think he's right but I don't think, with his current down trending reputation, he should be saying this. He sucks more and more every day that passes.

I kind of like Durant more as a heel.

He plays it well.

Nothing wrong with what he said.

Thunderfan gets their ego stroked pretty consistently anyways.

He left his former situation because he felt his new one was better for him. OKC fans should respect and appreciate that sentiment, it's why they even have a team to begin with.

Their city's whole NBA history is trying to make NBA franchises abandon another city and that city's fans for OKC. frick them.

I thought it was a weak move to go to the Warriors of all places. But what Clay Bennett did to Sonics fans is far worse. So I'm glad KD shits on OKC. It's great.

In general, most pro athletes don't give a shite about what the fans think. They can't afford to, really.

I guess y'all are right, I just don't see the need to add fuel to the fire.

I mean, I wouldn't go this route if I were him, either. But I've always been more of a "don't burn the bridges" type of person.

If it wasn't for Hurricane Katrina, they'd probably still be trying.

I don't have any problem with what he said, but his mom came out in the media crying about how he was treated, there were reports that the Warriors (which they denied) were mad he didn't get some sort of tribute video. He should probably be expressing this sentiment to them as well.

Could not disagree more. He reminds me of a 3rd grader attempting to curse for the first time.

"Shut up you frick dick! Stupid shite bitch!"

Really? Sometime you kill me

Is what he says true? Yes. But is what he said also a huge frick you to OKC? Yes

Why does he need to say that? Just to be a petty a-hole. It is oozing with pettiness, whether or not it is true

Really guys? If I run up to a kid with downs, and tell him he is a retard that will never be able to give to society like a normal person, is that ok?

I mean, am I wrong?

Yes I used hyperbole, but saying something simply because it is right doesnt make t less petty or less assholish

I assume he was asked about it and that's why he answered. So it wasn't like he went out of his way to bring it up. I get what you're saying though and at a certain point he should probably take the high road
