Not only overlooked but actively helped cover it up. Looks like the rape culture still exists

This is why I think Penn State should have gotten the death penalty in football at a minimum. Need to kill the cult mindset with fire, not treat it like it's just another recruiting violation or improper benefits scandal. It sucks for the players, but it always sucks for the players when violations occur and sanctions are levied, and special measures can be taken to allow them to transfer out with no penalty.

Sure. It isn't as "icky". And if it it a hot female teacher, people are congratulating the student for a job well done, right? Pointing at the weirdos from Pennsylvania is much easier than accepting horrible things happen all around.

Gosh...I was hoping to roll on to page 2 and see you'd taken that post back. Turns out, you doubled down...essentially proving that douche Olberman's point that football > the welfare of children.

In what world could you possibly equate the systematic rape of children with the consensual sex between an adult woman and a 16+ year old boy?

Christ...you guys make BAMA fans look rational.

What about the "culture" in your own backyard? How many threads over the last month about Louisiana teachers fricking their students, 3 or 4? That is as much your fault as Sandusky raping kids is my fault.

He's the quintessential guy who pretends to be reasonable but still drinks the kool aid such that he abandons logic and feels a bizarre need to justify stupid shite done in the name of his school. I feel like there has to be so many like him.

The state is systematically covering up these incidents? Not even close buddy.

Oh gosh, in State College, yes. My sister went to Penn State and she complained of this even before the scandal broke. It's a good school, but Central Pennsylvania can be a very backwards place in general.

I'm honestly trying to be a positive ambassador for PSU, guess I'll have to try harder.

Or just not try at all. No one cares, and you don't need to be defending PSU all over the world. Once they got the wins back, I thought all the PSU insecurities would have been fixed.

Man, you should back off the term "consensual" in your defense of statutory rape.

The point being that a 16 year old can't consent. And most places have laws barring people in position of authority sleeping with their subordinates regardless of age.

Now that being said, if this guy can't see the difference between statutory rape and pedophilia, he can't be helped. And he's hurting his own cause of "positively representing PSU."
