KD is getting praised by jangalang, and Lebron being roasted for last night

Well, let's say Lebron did exactly what KD did last night. Made the shots at the exact same time

So, Lebron goes from 39 points to 31. 8 less

Lebron goes from 9 assists to 4. Resulting in about 10 less points

So if Lebron performed exactly like KD, the Cavs lose by 23 instead of 5.....

A certain stat would laugh at this.

So you did see where Lebron passed the ball off to Korver with less than a minute remaining and then after the miss, he doesn't get back to cover Durant for the clutch three.

let me guess: "But he was tired!"

Do you realize that?

I don't know if you mean that KD is passing him right now or that he's already eclipsed Lebrons career status? I agree to the former but not the latter which is what your rankings lead me to believe. As for as you comment on his 4th quarter play it's spot on and the morons you're arguing with don't know much about basketball and most likely have never played minus bitty ball. It's 100% on him that he's run out of gas, he insisted on playing high minutes during the regular season to keep his numbers where he likes them it sure wasn't about winning and yes he and uncle Drew play ISO ball all night long so of course they're burnt. This series isn't lopsided because of a talent disparity it's lopsided because one organization has a front office a coach and players who are coach able and buy into the team concept while the other team has a player controlling everything from contracts to style if play. Think back to 2015 when Cleveland was up 2-1 playing a slow pace with Lebron and Mozgov of all ppl dominating the game it was working for Cleveland but with no coach in place Kerr was able to change the pace of play and take control. Now you have Lebron not willing to change his teams style of play because it'll affect his numbers and in his mind he's not confident they can win so he might as well look good losing then try something different. He's his own worst enemy and when he finishes his career 4 titles short of a .500 record he'll be placed accordingly among the greats.

Most ignorant logic I've ever seen on this board and that's saying something.

Explain

If Lebron had the exact same performance as KD, the Cavs get blown out. That is a simple fact

If Durant had the shot attempts Lebron had in the construct of GS offense the Warriors would've won by 30. Just because your stat sheet is full doesn't mean you played a better game. Bill Bellicheck "stats are for losers" Lebron and Irvin combined took more shots that GS big 3 that's not winning basketball that's ISO playground ball and it's showing in the matchup.

Curry and Bogut were both injured... lol

What does that have to do with this, which is what you quoted:

No one averaged more minutes than LeBron, who seemed less fatigued than every player on the court in the final 3 games, despite doing more than every player on the court, so not sure how that opinion works.

Question, if Lebron had the exact same performance as KD last night, do the Cavs get blown out?

Remember, KD didn't score a single point in the 3rd qtr

Not true at all. He could opt in and still restructure his contract long term while taking far less than max.

Explain how he can restructure his deal

Yet, people bash Lebron for passing the ball

No and you're forgetting that if you take Lebron off of the Cavs every single thing about that team is different esp the style if play.

Passing the ball? He took almost 30 shots last night, he was taking 35 a game last year in the first few games. Assists are dependent upon the scorers opinion and is the most overrated stat of all. For instance the definition of an assist is a pass that leads to an uncontested score yet you have assist being given to players when the scorer has to finish over multiple players or has to pump fake take a dribble then shoot, these are not actual assist and you will hear older players talk about this a lot. The stats have to be accellerated to give fans interest because the league is so bad and watered down.

Seems pretty simple

If going 39-11-9 isn't good enough to win, 31-4-8 sure as frick wouldn't get it done

Great insight, Sheila:

"there are four of the top 20 players in the league." It doesn't answer where or when or how or why or what the frick you're talking about but it's fantastic .
