He was carted of the field. Looks to be a serious knee injury. He is on his way to the hospital

From looking at the video it looks like he broke both of the bones in his lower leg (Tibia/Fibula). He'll have several months of rehab but should be fine. Hopefully there was no knee ligament damage. Nasty nonetheless.

Seeing his face and screaming after that injury made my heart really sad. A good kid trying to enjoy his senior year before playing in college, and it's over before it barely even started. I feel so bad for him.
