Towards the end of a day at camp, Stuart was hit in the eye by a football thrown from a football throwing machine. He underwent surgery that night and was out of work for a few months, and has a ptosis, or drooping eyelid, because of this accident.

So THAT'S how he still has a job at ESPN. " I won't sue if I have a job for life. And get all of the cheese assignments"

Stuart Scott is actually blind in his eye that is "considered" as a lazy eye, he had cancer in it a few years back and lost his vision.

Wait so did he get hit in the eye with a ball or did he lose it to cancer? Or did the ball cause cancer?

I dont know what caused the cancer or not, but tonight on JimmyV week on ESPN, he talked about how he was a cancer survivor and he is refering to his eye in which he lost vision of.
