had run and gun offenses. Also, if the east only had a handful of players that the worth a shite. His scoring, assist, rebounds and steals would be up substantially.
What does the MSB think?

yeah. despite all the advancements in training and sports science the NBA players today are sooo much worse than they were 25 years ago... players have literally got better, faster, and stronger at every sport except basketball

/sarcasm

Exactly.

With the Finals on the line, elimination game, and Jordan having 5 Finals under his belt, this was all they were allowed to do against him:

Jordan ate up those horseshite illegal defense rules.

In the 90's, the East was stacked like the West is now, and it was as physical as basketball can get. Today, Jordan would get to the foul line 10-15 times per game. He'd average 35 points easily

Is that Malone who comes crashing down in the top of the Gif? I like how he has to crash hard, and before MJ even makes a move, he has to sit up there knowing there's nothing he can do until MJ is already to the hole.

What's is the obsession with the physicality of the game then? Only a few teams were even physical. One team made a name for themselves (bad boy Pistons). That's it. The Knicks had a few guys who were physical inside, they never won anything though despite their "toughness". Why is that?

How about today where you can shade a guy under and help off of poor shooters? Games are still chippy too.

It's the go to argument for the "back in my day!" crowd to try and make it seem as if they had a league full of badasses.

Simple math, today the teams score more and play at a faster pace. So, you would assume the best scorer of his time would have a lot better stats if the past of play was faster. Look at college football today vs 20 years ago. I again, rest my case.
By the way I haven't watch one playoff game; I knew at the start of the year what teams would be playing for the title. Most of the NBA teams suck. You have a few players that can actually shoot at a decent percentage. So what if a 6'10" guy dunks the ball, is that skill?

Why do you keep resting your case?

Unrest your case, look at the average points scored while Jordan was playing, and get back to us.

no, they dont. therefore i'm not gonna bother reading the rest of your post if you already failed at "simple" math in the first sentence. did you skip that entire image above your post?
