I had some pretty good pics in the 2013 thread.

The venue is actually pretty small IMO, so it's not like you can really miss anything cool like the Babolat string room or certain shops. I would just say that even if you have tickets to a show court, go early and watch action on some side courts. I think they let more people in around cocktail hour, so things seem to get more crowded in the late afternoon. I dragged my brother to Kyrgios v Cilic where only a few people were watching and he was like WTF. One year later, Kyrgios beat Nadal at Wimbledon and Cilic won the U.S. Open. He was glad he saw those guys up close. You just never know. There are certain sections of the Chatrier promenade where you can watch action on other courts, but you need tickets for that stadium to do that.
I thought the food was subpar. It was either hotdog/sandwich stands or one or two high end joints. There was a cafe that was OK I think in the Jardins Gourmets area or something. Just pray you don't have rain because the place is way too small to deal with that.

I have centre court tickets for the 2nd round day when the 2 seed and 4 seed play, hoping to catch rafa and fed. They came with lunch at a fancy place on site so hopefully the food is better.

Nice. It's like roulette on whether the top guys play on Chatrier or Lenglen. I went to both second round days, Lenglen first, then Chatrier. I lucked out because I got Fed on Lenglen, then Djoker on Chatrier. Would have preferred Rafa over Djoker, but Rafa's match barely even went off before it was wiped out by rain. The X factor here is there will likely be some fleabag French match on your court while their countrymen are alive. I got Llodra v. Milos, which was weird watching two attackers on clay.

On my day last year Tsong played Chatrier and Fed Lenglen. We got tickets using the pre order with french tennis federation membership, but limit 4 main courts per order and there is four of us. so we have outer courts only the next day. Going to try and find some in the secondary market or when it opens to the public.
How did you get tickets? I hear they are SUPER strict with aftermarket stuff.

My brother got them legitimately through the tournament website and basically did it at two in the morning or something a few years ago when they became available. I seem to remember the tickets had our names on them, so I think secondary market would be tough, though I'm not sure if that also pertains to grounds passes.
