True. I just don't understand why neutral or impartial fans are complaining about it. It's entertainment. Unless you're some football purist that's tuned in on the X's and O's and blocking schemes, It's fun seeing two players get into these skiffs.

Seriously he does. On multiple occasions yesterday, he didn't even try to body check OBJ at the line. Just tried to jab him in the head. frick that dude.

Norman is showing his punk arse as well. What purpose does he have to call Mike and Mike this morning? 90% of the public was thinking this poor, innocent Norman was mistreated yesterday but he has to call in to radio shows today and prove why Beckham was going after him. Those guys just don't shut up and if you make a tackle and stand on top of a guy with your crotch in his face you shouldn't be shocked when that player fights back.

Was it any secret that Josh Norman was a diva and an instigator before this? Not surprised that these incidents happened.

Skip Bayless actually made a great point about the NFL. He called them contradictory. The NFL has promoted Beckham in a similar fashion as Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, etc.

They didn't eject Beckham yesterday and now they waited a full day to gauge the public outcry. Now they suspend him...after their "concern" for player safety.

Should Beckham have been thrown out.. Yes.. should Norman... Probably so.. The refs blew this whole deal by continuing to let this shite go on, to afraid to throw out a star.. They made the situation worse by not doing their job

With that, Josh Norman is a little bitch for continuing this.. He shares quite a bit of blame in this whole affair.

Norman needs to let it go, he's starting to look like a real bitch. You're calling into radio shows, come on.

I've yet to see anybody in the media tear down Norman.

Probably a reason for that.

Agreed.

However, nothing Norman has done post-game excuses OBJ's behavior during the game.

Was it entertaining? Sure, but it was also damaging to his reputation and popularity among the average fan. He lost quite a bit of equity he had built up with the average Joe yesterday.

Norman is.

After the game though and with words. I don't really give a crap what he says.

OBJ was about to start a brawl.

Well this is obvious.

The didn't suspend Johnson or Finnegan back in 2010 when they had their brawl that is posted in this thread. Simply fined each of them $25,000 after they had been fined in the past for similar issues with each other.

Goodell has sent a clear message - what happens off the field is much more likely to get you in trouble than what happens on it. He loves the publicity it brings to the game - good or bad - as long as it is happening under his watch and lining his pockets.
