He will return but he won't be as good

Isn't his suspension over in June or July?

Appears you answered your own question.

I think there's a UFC event just days prior to this date. I wouldn't be surprised if he petitioned to have his suspension terminate in time for him to compete in that event.

If you saw his last appearance on Rogan's podcast, then it seems clear he needs a really good support structure around him. The guy lives on the edge and isn't a malicious person, but keeps putting himself in so many risky situations that it's impossible for everything to fall the right way.

If he can keep his head on straight, he may follow the Conor plan and grab two belts: lt hvy and hvy.

I could be wrong but isn't his suspension given by the gaming commission and not the UFC? I doubt the commission would be willing to bend a suspension just so he could compete in an event a few days prior. Either way, there's a UFC event almost every three weeks at this point so I'm sure he will be fine

I've heard they had a lot of trouble filling out the card in Houston for the Super Bowl card

True but nothing prohibits him from trying and I think the July event is a big one as UFC events go, due to the 4th of July. As far as I know he was cleared in that they showed the substance he had was due to manufacturer contamination, so perhaps the commission would most concerned with serial tests showing he had nothing in his system for a given period of time. Just guessing here.

She's gotta take down Floyd first. Then Brock, then Jones.

The banned substance was the same that Brock Lesnar tested positive so I'm not sure if it was contaminated or not

"On the evidence before the Panel, the Applicant is not a drug cheat," the arbitrators wrote in their epilogue, via MMAFighting.com. "He did not know that the tablet he took contained prohibited substances or that those substances had the capacity to enhance sporting performance.

"However by his imprudent use of what he pungently referred to as a 'd--- pill' he has not only lost a year of his career but an estimated $9 million. This outcome which he admits to be a wakeup call for him should serve as a warning to all others who participate in the same sport."

Jones suspended retroactive to 6 July

So, I guess this is about as favorable a declaration as he could hope for. But he lost a lot of money.
