With all the ugly news right now, this is a nice firsthand account about Urschel (Guard for the Baltimore Ravens) studying for his Ph.D. at MIT and working out with the university's Division 3 football team:

He received 4 A's in his first semester. According to his MIT profile, his research specialties are spectral graph theory, numerical linear algebra, and machine learning.
