Porcello was rolling and up 4 nothing and moron Farrell pulls him and burns his already depleted bullpen even more and then puts 40 yr old Koji in to close in a Non-save situation ...now he gets hurt. Good job John....you dipshit...you've just lost Boston more games.

Porcello was at 108 pitches. If he leaves him in any longer, people will compare him to Dusty Baker. Nobody wants that hung on them.

He let Brandon Workman hit in a World Series game........a tie World Series game.......in the 9th inning.........it was his first professional at bat.........
Farrell is a dumbass, they won that WS despite him.

Farrell has made several decisions that I didn't agree with, but he's not the worst in MLB.

Far from the best, but he's not the worst.

Managers should definitely base their pitching decisions on save/non save situations.

That was terrible. One of the more head scratching managerial moves I've ever seen. The thing in the OP seems pretty benign though.

No, Mike Matheny is worse

He has no clue how to use his lineup, no clue how to manage his starters, manage his older players and giving them rest, and ZERO clues on how to use your pen.

I'm beginning to think he might be better at Real Estate investments than MLB manager. Mike literally had to file for bankruptcy from his great investments.
