I gotta say he has been pretty bad the last few games but his best move was going back to Chapman in the 9th. Indians had the top of the order up and he stuck with Chapman and it work. I really don't think anyone in the Cubs bullpen could have done it with all the momentum the Indians had.

He got bailed out. Worst game I've ever seen him manage. Should have never pulled Kyle there. Should not have pulled Lester. Should not have put Chapman in after what he did in Game Six (and he shouldn't have used him in Game Six). Terrible call to bunt with two strikes with Baez with only one out. I'm obviously ecstatic that he did get bailed out, but the team won that game despite the manager.

His use of chapman in the last 3 games can be questioned, but they did certainly bail him out

He was definitely managing out of fear.. Which is hypocritical for him. He always talked about riding your studs. For whatever reason he yanked them when it wasn't necessary.

WITH THAT SAID

It will be a learning experience for him, and I hope he's the Cubs manager for years to come. Just a good guy.
