This has nothing to do with “crowning him” and everything to do with your hot takes. Which QB is Cincy drafting in the top 5 next year since that was your prediction? You can keep cherry-picking and nitpicking stats to try to prove your point but this deal is over for you, you were wrong. It’s not even saying he’s elite or on some HOF pace, but he’s clearly so much better than you insisted he would be. That’s by about any statistical measure individually or team success. His team that had 2 wins the year before drafting him is sitting at the top of their division at Christmas in his 2nd year when he’s coming off of an awful injury.
Just own this one and take the L.

I know what they believe their rating shows, but they completely miss the mark. Like I said, they have things they favor when it suits what they already believe about certain players. They had Aaron Donald as the number one player in the entire league last season when he wasn’t even the best defensive player in the league, much less best player overall. They had Watson at 6th overall. Chase Young was in the top 40.
They are terrible at using context and have no consistency in what they value. That’s why I said their individual metrics can be great (when they properly and accurately accumulate the data), but their overall ratings are arse. I’ll say that no matter if they have Burrow rated first or fiftieth.

So when is this board going to admit it was wrong on Tua then? Since y’all are ready to declare Burrow a proven success, y’all going to do that for Tua too? This board has told me for years that Dak isn’t a top 10 QB. That still the case? There are some on here that still say Aaron Rodgers is overrated when the guy is clearly a top 10 all time QB and will probably be top 5 if he cares to stay around long enough.
I’ll give Justin Jefferson his props though. I said after the Vikings drafted him that they got a cheaper clone of Diggs but I didn’t think he would be so good right out of the gate. On the flip side, I tried to tell LSU fans that your line in 2019 was at worst severely underrated and at best elite and this board laughed at that and now you have a guy like Damian Lewis who is looking like a future All-Pro.
But anyways, I don’t care to have this back and forth over and over again. History will do it’s thing and prove me right. If not, who cares.

Tua has been solid and shown enough that the Dolphins would be dumb to trade a shitload of equity for another qb who missed a season and won 4 games the last time he played.

I see you like to dig through people’s old posts (not creepy nor ate up behavior btw) yet you conveniently ignore me mentioning before what I believe about PFF’s overall ratings. Most analytics guy don’t even trust them because of their ridiculousness.

PFF gets a lot of flack from people who don’t know any better. Of course it’s flawed because it’s got a human element to it. But they do watch every play, every game, all 22. People who hate it watch 4 games a week, maybe, on broadcast, with no context of what should and shouldn’t be happening. It’s pretty hilarious.
