i'm not a big fan of Nola rap but it certainly was more commercially successful than Houston rap

Used to go watch the S.U.C. at International Ballroom on Main and Fondren back in the day. Big Moe, Fat Pat, Hawk, DJ screw, Lil O, Lil keke put on a hell of a show. I remember a lot of them flipping mix tapes outside the Foodrama at Cartwright and 2234.

They put out some great music back then that for the most part didn't catch on to mainstream.
