NFL - no team would hire Saban.

Jim harbaugh also played the game at a high level.

LOL, that makes no difference. Why make such an idiotic statement. Bill Belichick isn't going to the HOF because of his stellar play on the field.

He's going to the hall because of tom
Brady. And yeah it makes a difference

Saban is a CEO coach compared to harbaugh
I think he's overrated as a secondary coach...but he certainly has a specific philosophy on defense. He gets his hands dirty and coaches hard af and focuses on every little detail when coaching.

The only reason you call him a CEO coach is because he's GOAT at that aspect of coaching.

But, he's still a "coaches coach."

Saban the goat, that's funny. Not even top 5.

Harbaugh is extremely overrated. He gets all this praise, but finished 3rd in his division. He's not an elite level.

Who's the GOAT at the CEO part of coaching in college football? Let's hear your top 5 that doesn't include Saban.

I just hope Saban never gets his hands on a generational type talent at the QB position. It wouldn't even be fair at that point.

You are wasting your time with this snowflake. Anyone who thinks Saban isn't a top 5 of all time is just trolling.

Two different skill sets for these jobs, with some overlap.

Tua is going to really piss some people off during his time at Alabama.

This board never ceases to amaze me I wonder what you were calling guys like Jimbo and Dabo after their first 2 years on the job.

Both top five coaches. Teams loaded with talent and still needed generational talents at QB to win national titles. Saban does it with pedestrians. Really is incredible.

All time there are probably a lot more than 5 now that I think about it. Bill Snyder right now for sure. Harbaugh is a beter coach. Urban is probably equal plus younger.

To be fair, Saban usually has generational talent on either the defense or O-line.

What makes you think that would happen? Saban doesn't know quarterbacks, why would good ones want to play for him

Greatest of all time. You're the one who used the term. Don't use it when you mean the present
