yeah, i think we might try to package 12 and 21 to climb a few and get jaylen brown.

I was thinking we may try and snag someone with some more size. Maybe a PF type vs a SF like Brown. I'm not terribly familiar with what will be available at 12 though.

As a Pelicans fan, I'm listening.

We need to keep both picks and take a SG at 12 and a Center at 21. What I don't want to see is us drafting two more guys we plan on stashing overseas for the next 5 years. I am so sick of seeing that.

Do people really think the 12th pick carries that much value?

Why would anyone trade for Derrick Rose. He's one more knee injury away from career ending. With his slash style of play, it's not an if, it's a when.

To the right team, the 12th pick could be monumental. Think of someone like San Antonio, or Golden State. Teams that are there, but just need an additional piece to bring up the rear. They could make a killing off the 12th pick.

12 is a high pick

Not really. This draft drops off a cliff after like 7.

From first glance it looks like the Pacers won big with ths trade. Teague, is a massive upgrade over Hill.

Everyone knows that Hawks want Schroeder to be the man in ATL, it looks like this was a trade to make that happen, unless they can get a really good player at 12, looks like a lateral move.

As for the Jazz. Wtf

As a Pacers fan, I'm pumped. Kinda knew we would get Teague somehow.
Both Teague and Hill are from Indy.

now the Hawks just have to sign Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant and we are good to go

PG: Schroeder
SG: Bazemore
SF: Durant
PF: Millsap
C: Howard

Bench: Pick 12, Pick 21, Korver, Tavares, Splitter, Scott, Heinrich(??), Humphries, Sefolosha, THJ

I don't follow the NBA much but is getting rid of a proven, solid player in teague worth it for #12? I thought (and could be waaaaaay off base) that in the NBA draft that after about 5 or 6 picks there really aren't a ton of studs left on the board. Is there anyone that would be in teh 10-15 range that atlanta should be excited about?

plenty of big guys in that range that Atlanta could be looking at. Especially if we are losing Al Horford as expected.

The Bulls management forced Thibs out and they will force either Rose or Butler out.

We had Teague for another year at best. Better to get something for him than lose him to free agency and get nothing in return.
