Continue to read my friend. I corrected my self in a post below saying I didn't mean to say his game was boring. It is just less exciting then others. I mean come on guys lets be fricking real.

Free throws are not as exciting as made shots.

Would you rather see a guy get hot and make 7 3 pointers in a row and shoot 21/28 and and drop 50 or a guy go 10/32 with 23-27 free throws and drop 50

Also I'm using fictional numbers. Do not try and check my math bc im sure it's off

It just makes his game boring and it cast a negative light on him.

Well you did say this.

Negative light on him? I see it as a negative light on the players trying to stop him. They're the ones mucking the game up.

This ain't just about you, son. Look at the first 20 or so posts and it's from people complaining about his ft attempts (like they have all year) and he's right on par with the best ever at his position. That is the point.

That's not the point I was making and you keep replying to me

And goldrush.. Continue to read my man. I already said I didn't mean to say he is boring.

Can I just get someone to be like "damn man your right. I didn't realize he was the only player to make more free throws in the NBA over the last 3 seasons compared to made field goals. That is kind of odd. Oh well. He still a balla!"

Maybe Harden gets to the line so much because players can't defend him effectively.

This is correct. Here are still images of every foul called that sent Harden to the line. If you notice, nearly every single foul is because he has beat his man an the players who were beat reach in in desperation to stop an easy lay-up. None of them are in good defending position:

Foul #1, 7:01 1st Q. Obvious reach-in:

Foul #2, 4:01 1st Q. Nobody in front. Players hacking:

Foul #3, 3:00 1st Q. Hard to see from the bad quality of this pic, but nobody is in front, and players are just reaching in and hacking him:

Foul #4, 6:18 2nd Q. Weird random reach-in by Ty Lawson:

Foul #5, 2:53 2nd Q. Harden beats his man, and his man reaches in from behind and hacks him in desperation.

Foul #6, 0:41 2nd Q. Harden gets wrapped up to stop his fast break.

Foul #7, 6:33 3rd Q. Harden's man can't stay in front, and hacks him once again:

Foul #8, 5:41 3rd Q. Neither man is in front, and they use their arms to defend and hack him:

Foul #9, 1:01 3rd Q. Blocking foul on Jameer Nelson on a fast break. You can see by their legs that Jameer is not in front.

Foul #10, 0:04 3rd Q. Nobody can stay in front of him, and all they can do is grab an arm:

Foul #11, 4:55 4th Q. This one was questionable. Faried does get him with his body, but the contact was slight.

Foul# 12, 2:55 4th Q. Again, nobody can stay in front, and they resort to hacking.

Foul #13, 1:02 4th Q. Harden's man can't stay in front and a blocking foul is called.

It is... but it's because people just look at the box score and don't actually watch the game and think it's not fair that he gets so many calls. They don't think he could possibly actually get fouled that many times.

Well, it's because he's relentless at attacking the basket, and he's really good so players have trouble staying in front of him and all they can do is foul or give up easy points.

They don't watch the games.

Not a single one of those images show a defensive player getting in front of him. They all just swipe at the ball after they get beat.
