Don't care!

4th in attendance. People are still showing up to see his crap. 19,812 100.0%

Most valuable team in the league. Worth $4bil, but would probably fetch twice that if he tried to sell.

And all we get is this junk.

According to Forbes they are:

1. Dallas Cowboys, $4 billion
2. Real Madrid, $3.7 billion
3. FC Barcelona, $3.6 billion
4. New York Yankees, $3.4 billion
5. Manchester United, $3.3 billion
6. New England Patriots, $3.2 billion
7. New York Knicks, $3 billion
8. Washington Redskins, $2.9 billion
9. New York Giants, $2.8 billion
10. Los Angeles Lakers, $2.7 billion

Remember the Knicks actually OWN the TV network. Lakers just have a deal with TWC

Never would've guessed that. I would've thought Barcelona was number 1 too.

Word on the street is that the Knicks, specifically Dolan, have blackballed Oakley. They have been bringing in players all season to celebrate whatever anniversary it is. Dolan and the knicks have gone out of their way to avoid contacting Oakley. Mainly because he's been a vocal critic of the Knicks and Dolan. He can't even get tickets to the games given to him by the organization. He bought the tickets to last nights game, and here is where it gets thick. Dolan supposedly saw him sitting there, and sent security over to remove him from the building. Leading to the drama we saw on camera.

Yep, but then I realized soccer teams have a lot of debt. That's what happens when you have no cap and so you spend hundreds of millions on 1 player.

They are the more "popular team" and probably the more valuable "brand" globally

Yep. Dolan is a petty child. He blackballs everyone who disagrees with him.

Well the bad thing here is that there is nothing that can be done to Dolan for being a petulant child. Oakley is going to look bad here no matter what for how he acted. Regardless if he was somewhat justified.

There are all sorts of rumors floating around. The truth is somewhere in the middle. I am more inclined to believe the story about Dolan not wanting him there at all. It's well known that Dolan is a dick.

I don't believe that list. If the Yankees were to ever be up for sale, The bidding war would push them up in the 6-8 Billion range. Same with the Cowboys. They are only a few organizations that have world wide recognition.
