"Youthful ignorance"

You're a 20 year old adult. Act like an adult.

BTW, has LSUFreek made a gif yet?

Disgusting.

If someone was down on their luck and did this would they be offered the same opportunities? I'd imagine that to be unlikely.

Be careful posters.
JW is black and he did steal, however all this piling on and accusations of his thievery will certainly lead to the race card being pulled.

Hell I'll start.
Bunch of racists on here.
All y'all want to do is try to hold the mane back.

I had 18 year old "men" in my squad in the Army that performed their "real" job with more honor and integrity than Jameis Winston. I love how the media always throws out the "he is a kid" argument. bullshite, look at him, he is a grown arse man who shop lifted...period! He knows right from wrong, but apparently this kid simply thinks he is above the law. His little rap sheet is getting longer and longer. Somebody needs to

When it comes to sports, we hear the "he is a kid" argument for players in their mid-20s. It is ridiculous.

If this is the case, he should have a receipt for the "other" items he purchased.

He actually stole two items, doesn't sound like anything was purchased. If it was simply a case of something slid back in his cart ETC that would have certainly been posted.

People leave the toilet paper under and can forget etc whatever. You don't walking out carrying the two items you were there to purchase though without bags etc and say OOOPS.

I think he has been getting free food out of this publix for a while. Some manager who wasn't in on it, or down with it saw and called the cops.

BINGO. I actually dont think he was stealing, I think this Publix has been giving him free stuff all along. Then all of a sudden one employee wasnt in the know, busted his arse, and FSU had the choice of going public or letting Jameis take the citation fall. Easy peasy decision

Ya, especially when going public means he is going to have to sit 2-4 games for a NCAA violation.
