Good move. He needs to lay low for a while.

I hope he lights the league on fire.
You hope he says yes when you propose to him.

LaRon Landry also did not attend.

They should have scheduled the draft on a leg day.

I don't have a problem with a guy blowing off the draft if it's what he wants to do. I hope he doesn't cave under the pressure the NFL leadership will put on him.

I'd much rather spend the day with family than being at the draft with all the cameras and obligations that go with it

If he's the expected number one pic he should go.

Oh that's right he's too busy stealing crab legs or showing his family how to frick her right in the pussy.

guess they can't. I'd strongly advise him to go if I'm the league office though.

Why? Jameis Winston deciding to skip the NFL Draft will have no effect on the NFL, on Jameis, or on the team that drafts Jameis.

He does not want to subject himself to the same thing that happened to Manzeil last year. The camera kept focusing on Johnny every time he was not picked. I don't have a problem with him not going.

This. Also see Quinn, Brady, as well as a host of other big name QBs that were supposed to be all-world that didn't get picked where Mel Kiper Jr. said they would get picked.

Falcons/Panthers/Saints fans on here are justifiably scared.
