I’ve loved the Saints for 35 years, BUT…

I’m not sure I wouldn’t pull for Joe Burrow and the Bengals if they met in the Super Bowl. And I’ve never felt anywhere near that way about any football player, but there’s something about Joe that’s just… different. I can’t explain it. It’s part of the reason why I push back against all the O haters. I think he should have been fired, but the vitriol towards him is baffling to me. I’d rather have ‘19 than all 6 of Bama’s NCs.

Bengals HAVE to get him some help if they want to think about superbowls. Hes getting hit alot. He had a rough game today but injured his pinky and was struggling to grip the ball.

Yep. It was more special. I remember where I was with my son for every game that season. Wouldn’t trade that 15-0 for all of Bama’s 13-1s or 14-0s. Means more.

Yes I did too but all the kneeling crap changed me root more more individual players than teams any more. Joe is one of those.

I loved the Saints for closer to 40 years. The love affair ended two summers ago. Malcolm Jenkins, Brees. The whole lot of them. I’m done with the Saints, and the NFL.

I don’t believe you will ever have to worry about pulling for the Saints over Burrow in a Super Bowl in your lifetime.
