After years of rumors, leaks and speculation, EA Sports themselves confirmed that we’re finally going to have a college football game. They just released a teaser trailer.

From the vid, it seems to be all of the P5 schools, I’m wondering how the agreement with mid majors will go. As far as allocation of sales and NIL
The full reveal is coming in May. My guess it’ll be released in July

Madden gets a ton of hate but it’s a good game. Not sure why they get the amount of hate they get, but I’ve always enjoyed the franchise. Is it perfect? Hell no. But it’s gotta be really hard to capture then recreate the authenticity of REAL football into a playable video game

Assuming you meant "Madden" where you said "Masses" here, you couldn't be more wrong. The madden franchise has objectively decayed over it's life as it's moved focus towards maximizing micro transactions. the games from the mid 2000's have more features than the games that are released today.

NFL 2k5, a game released in 2004, has a more authentic physics and animation engine than madden 24.

Is that what people want? The old NCAA games had more of an "arcade" feel than Madden games did. I think EA has to try to balance that with their new gaming engines.
From what I've read, the majority of the 135 D1 schools have agreed to participate. They have a good opportunity to nail this, but even if they don't, they're going to make a lot of money this year. If they do, they'll see it roll in for years to come.

I want to be excited but EA has completely decimated all of its sports game franchises
I have serious doubts they’ll put forth anything close to a good game in this first iteration, because if they were capable of that or wanted to, Madden wouldn’t be in the state that it’s in

Just give me in depth recruiting, a deep Dynasty Mode, and the ability to customize playbooks as well as Team Builder. I would be okay with passable gameplay. But they gotta establish a solid foundation within the Next Gen console world
