In some cases, not even 5 seasons.

In 2010, both Denver and Carolina were terrible. Carolina ended the season 2-14, Denver ended the season 4-12. Carolina had allowed 408 points on the season (with a -212 point differential) and Denver had allowed 471 points on the season (with a -127 point differential). Two of the worst defenses in the NFL. This season lead to the picks of Cam Newton and Von Miller, both players All-Pro in 2015.

In 2015, both Denver and Carolina were incredible. Carolina ended the season 15-1, Denver ended the season 12-4. Carolina allowed 308 points on the season (with a +192 point differential) and Denver allowed 296 points on the season (with a +59 point differential). Two of the best defenses in the NFL.

Obviously, both teams had turned it around before now. However, Denver got man-handled by Seattle in the Super Bowl and Carolina got put out after a 1st round bye a few years ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the top ranked defense has gotten the better of the Super Bowl as of late, the MVP has typically struggled, and PEEEEEEJ picked Carolina to win the game... Does this give Denver the advantage? I don't know, considering how dominant Carolina has been, but this should be a good game.

Let's fast-forward to the future... Which "down" teams now do you see turning it around and getting to the Super Bowl in a couple of years? I think I'd give the best shot to Jacksonville, maybe Baltimore.

I'm just a Denver Broncos and Cam Newton fan...and a fan of anyone that can beat the shitty New Orleans Saints.

1st of all frick you. Eat a duck. This game won't be as close as you think dumbass. Why don't you just leave this site. You bring nothing to this place except a bunch of needless dribble. We know you suck off cam. And are a broncos fan. So good. Now go away.

Oakland is gonna get good real quick if they keep drafting this well and Carr takes the leap to the upper echelon.

Oakland could take over the AFC West as early as next year. They need a few more defensive pieces, though. I read they may take a run at Marshawn Lynch as well.
