Is UNITE just Sportsnation with a DJ?

I watched a little bit of UNITE this morning. After watching it for a few minutes, it hit me that this was the exact same show as Sportsnation but with a cooler stage and a DJ. Does anyone else think this? Also, it seems that they have the exact same segments as Sportsnation but with "cooler" names. I know I shouldn't watch ESPN, but I had seen so many commercials for this show that I wanted to just check it out. From the commercials, they led you to believe that this was going to be a show where they talked about things other than just sports, which I thought would be pretty cool, however, it doesn't look like that at all. What do ya'll think?

Only saw a part of it, but it reminded me of a younger, hip-hop style of first take or one of those other bullshite espn shows.

never really thought of it like that because the formats are so different, but you are somewhat right.

Yeah, I didn't mean for it to sound like it was the exact same, but it seems like they just redid that show with a DJ and brought the same topics up but just reworded them to make it seem like a different show. I will say that I hadn't thought about First Take. I don't know that I have actually watched that show because of Steven A. Smith and Lord Voldemort. Now that you mentioned that, it does seem like this show really is more like First Take than Sportsnation. I don't know why I had any hopes of this show being anything different from what they show all the time, but they got me, I did. Oh well, just further proves my stance of not watching ESPN except for actual games and the not top-10. Which I watch every Friday.
