Is this the make or break game for Paul Johnson's option offense?

Will the questions start flying around even more about how this kind of offense doesn't work when teams have a while to prepare for it if Iowa shuts them down? LSU shut down Georgia Tech after a horrible season defensively. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it will be interesting what people say if Georgia Tech gets shut down offensively in both of Paul Johnson's bowl games.

ETA: Meaning questions about this offense's ability to ever win a BCS bowl game or a national championship.

They won 11 games this year thus far, averaging 37 ppg

They were pretty good last year too and LSU was able to rough them up.

Iowa's already forced two 3 and outs tonight.

The point is that if Paul Johnson can win a national championship or will he just be a great regular season coach at GT.

News flash, if teams have time to prepare for the Triple Option teams can stop it. ALA LSU last season. Iowa so far...

True, but that's not the debate. The debate is can they ever win a bowl game with this offense.

yet Navy and Air Force have succeeded in bowl games. This is Johnson's second year; the upperclassmen were recruited for a pro-style offense. Watch what happens in a couple of years.

Paul's 0/2. I don't think this is a good trend.

What did LSU run in the Cap1? If they can be close to a win with that shite, GT should be able to get close.

I'll admit, I'm worried about the offense in bowl games in the future, but if GT can get some better blocking and better DL I think they'll be okay.

even with LSU's shitty offense, PSU had to gameplan for more than 5 plays

even with only 5 plays, GT had the ball down 3 with what, 7 minutes to play? If Dwyer doesn't go retarded, who knows how that game ends.

This was also a bad matchup for us. If GT gets Cincy we're probably hoisting oranges right now.
