I think most sports fans have a rather low opinion of the NFL due to some shitty practices. As the popularity of baseball has recently surged past professional football (this isn't a scientific statement but I feel like it's true), will the MLB become more greedy like the NFL has and hurt fans?

I ask this because we're experiencing some ticketing issues that would be non-issues if the MLB didn't force you to go through their shitty app for tickets.

I mean, there are several hundred metrics pointing to both arguments. But ask yourself this? How many people have a positive impression of the 2016 NFL season? Not many. People were complaining about how shitty the league was all year.

Has baseball been surging in popularity at all? Not trolling. Genuinely curious.

I love baseball, but not even close.

Can you isolate one pointing to the MLB "surging past" the NFL?

I think it has. I'd take football any day of the week over baseball but I feel like baseball popularity is super high right now

The ballpark app?

It is the easiest thing in the history of tickets for season ticket holders.
