Alex Smith is the highest paid player on the Chiefs by like 6 mil and he's not even close to being an elite QB
QB salaries are higher than RB salaries. That isn't anything new. But if you think the Chiefs offense is centered around Alex Smith's passing game then you're a moron

Any why do you think that is?

Elite RBs are a luxury, not a necessity. They are also pretty easily replaceable as far as value. They would suffer a huge drop off if forced to start Daniel or Murray or whoever it would be. As you saw last week the dropoff between Charles and Davis isn't huge. Their offense is designed around establishing the running game, not around Charles.

The examples of teams building around a QB are numerous compared to any other position and you obviously have a pretty rudimentary understanding of pro football

Because finding a QB that can take a team to the SB or even the playoffs is not an easy thing to find. And you are sadly mistaken if you think the Jets have found that in Geno

No. Just no. Charles and Knile are a poor example because Knile has every ability to be elite. But that brings up another point. The Chiefs have done a tremendous job of building their offense around their RBs so a talented back could thrive in it. Just because Alex Smith gets paid more doesn't make him the center piece to the Chiefs. That is a pretty obvious concept

Look at DeMarco, or LeSean, or ADP, or Arian. Their entire offense takes a HUGE hit without them in the game.

I never said they weren't. Team should be centering their offense around a QB. But if you take that chance on someone like Cam or Geno, shite is not going to work out

Yes, he is. He is a replica Aaron Brooks. That is his ceiling, and I don't think he will even be near as good as Brooks.

Andy Dalton catches passes, does that make him a Triple Threat Quarterback?

Based on this thread, Andy Dalton should gone 1st in the draft and won 3 consecutive Super Bowls

I don't watch many Bengals games...does Dalton not run much. I guess that would make him a Dual threat with passing and receiving

Why wouldn't they just try to find a RB that can lead them to the playoffs or Super Bowl then?

McCoy has less total yards than his backup through three games and they are 3-0. He's really played like shite honestly. Kelly's offense completely revolves around the QB. Terrible example to use for your case.

The Texans are a good example this year for your case, they definitely revolve around Foster this year. No argument there. Last three years they went as their QB play went though, when Schaub went to shite so did the team.

Vikes were built around Peterson the last few years when they were terrible but obviously not anymore

The Cowboys remain to be seen, they have completely revolved around Romo the last few years though and I doubt they will fully commit to the run long term.

The Panthers were completely built around Cam last year and won their division last I checked.

Circling back to your point since it's been lost Geno Smith isn't even a fricking dual threat QB

Good for them. Are they ever going to make it to a Super Bowl? No

He is extremely mobile, was labeled as a dual-threat in both HS and college, runs a 4.59 (Same as Cam might I add), and they have plays centered around him running the ball. Not to mention, Geno himself labels himself as a dual-threat. Just because he sucks at it and doesn't have the stats to back it up doesn't make him not a dual-threat.

I agree with you that he may not be considered a threat because he is pretty awful and the defense should not be threatened
